MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi! I'm Jess, wife & Mom of 4, Brand Strategist & Website Designer. We live in the gorgeous countryside overlooking a lake growing our farm and family.
I grew up on an organic farm in rural Canada, surrounded by horses, cattle, sheep, donkeys, chickens, grain farming and hard work. My childhood was split between riding horses, showing 4-H cattle, and traveling the world with my parents. From living in Indonesia for 2 years to travelling to places all over the USA, Australia, the UK, and more, those experiences shaped how I see business today: environment matters, perception matters, and trust is built long before a word is spoken.

I have earned the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award and after high school I received my Bachelor of Business Degree.
Upon graduation I stepped into the corporate world and started climbing the corporate ladder, but the moment that changed my trajectory came from watching my best friend and university roommate start her new business, invest in branding and a website only to have the people she hired disappear and left her with nothing.
What started as helping one business recover turned into years of deep learning, hands-on experimentation, and real-world results. I am now a Mom of 4 and live with my husband on our grain farm where between babies and late nights, I built my business entirely online, learning firsthand what actually drives trust, authority, and demand. Not trends. Not templates. Positioning. Clarity. Intentional design.
It was then that Aretesa came to life - to design brands and websites for businesses that value clarity, quality, and long-term positioning. My work focuses on creating refined brand and digital experiences that communicate credibility, authority, and trust at first glance. Every project is approached with intention and precision, resulting in a presence that supports growth, elevates perception, and attracts the right clients naturally.
